Hey did you hear The breaking news About those scummy fucks The ones who broke lose Under this bridge You see through me With your tired eyes Suggests to leave There she goes taking off her dress If you only knew me at my best Spiraling down is this death? I leave this place without a second guess Wallow in old growth Greet death who knows Wake up with no hope Long walks and cold toes

Thing for blondes well don’t we all King of nothing watch you fall How much more do we have to go? Selling everything I own I’m not prepared Being scared is not a worry I’m not coming home To an empty room, I have no money Digging my own grave which I’ll use as an ashtray Send her all my favorite songs We’ll all sing and get along If I were you I’d love her too I pray to god to be alone I pray to god I break my phone I pray to god I die alone

Is the sky getting clearer or is it just the rain Maybe I wouldn't be here if I took the blame So I’m crawling out from my comfortable bed Been dancing with the devil dining for two instead If that’s the way If that's the way it must be At least for now I’m gladly taking my seat My royal throne of defeat I guess I wont be ever enough Like a short lived naked new skin rush

I slept like a baby On your hardwood flooring And when I woke that morning You told me you adored me Would you let me rot here Oh would you let me rot here I’ll be here forever I’ll be here forever I'd sleep so softly I'd sleep so softly If I could be your everything I could be your everything I’ll sleep in your basement And clear out all the creepy things I can linger all around when you’re not doing anything And easy comes and easy goes I’ll be right there if that’s what you want And I don’t know if you would know But I’d be right there if that’s what you want Would you let me rot here Oh would you let me rot here I’ll be here forever I’ll be here forever I'd sleep so softly I'd sleep so softly If I could be your everything I could be your everything But you lie All the time You lie All the time I don’t know if you would know It’s bullshit, it’s bullshit

Stranded with disaster is all I get Cheers to the weight of my piled mess All through the weekend I’m waving out my dirty flag Naughty thoughts come in porcelain masks My body slams through the pavement Are you into them? It’s a gradual decline Down a burning hell That keeps you well That keeps you well And I don’t blame the way you see it Better off if you can’t read it I’ve been pacing around the fences I’ve been dreaming again like it was New Year’s Eve

about

You know that feeling when you're driving home, the only one on the road at approximately 11:27pm - just after the rest of world has closed shop & gone to sleep for the night - with a brown paper bag freshly soaked with grease and filled with hot fries and even hotter wings as your stomach grumbles with every red light knowing you can smell them, but you can't get any sauce on the wheel. You definitely don't feel alone, but you know you're definitely not with anyone. Yeah, that moment, something about that feeling.

That's what these five songs are about.
